Message to Argyle Fans? Trust members

Once again the staff at the club face hardship, to the extent that some are threatened with eviction from their rented properties without some immediate assistance. While the Green Taverners (GTs) fundraising efforts continue successfully, there is insufficient money in their pot at the moment to be able to cover what is needed.
The GTs have therefore approached the Argyle Fans’ Trust to provide a second loan – to the emergency part of the hardship fund (as against the general hardship fund). We need to ensure that a prudent reserve is maintained in our account but are able and willing to loan £5,000.
The Interim Steering Committee approved this unanimously by vote at its most recent meeting and I have consulted with Supporters Direct.
However, we are conscious that in the time available we are unable to consult with members fully so, through this posting on our website, on the PASOTI message board and on the Green Taverners own website, we ask that TRUST MEMBERS contact us directly if they wish to express a view either way.
They can email [email protected] or state their views publicly by posting on PASOTI (this thread if you are reading this there).
Can I ask that such responses are received by 13:00 tomorrow (Saturday 16th April 2011) so we can – if the response is largely positive – then make the necessary arrangements promptly.
